UPCWGS organizes Discussion on Misogyny and Authoritarianism

The University of the Philippines Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS), in partnership with the UP College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) and the International Center for Innovation, Transformation and Excellence in Governance (INCITEGov), organized a round table discussion on Misogyny and Authoritarianism: Duterte’s War on Women on 2 May 2018 at the UPCWGS Conference Room. Discussants were Dr. Sylvia Estrada-Claudio of the UP CSWCD, Dr. Jean S. Encinas-Franco of the Department of Political Science, UP College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP), and Melinda Q. de Jesus of the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility (CMFR).
