The University of the Philippines Diliman Gender Office (UP DGO) has recently published the UP DGO Monograph Series No. 2 (September 2017). Written by Atty. Alnie G. Foja of the UP DGO and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), “Reintroducing Absolute Divorce in the Philippines and Thoughts on the Divorce Bill” discusses the history of divorce as part of Philippine legislation and the provisions of the Divorce Bill pending in Congress.

Before its publication, the paper was presented by Atty. Foja to the Political Science 100 Class of the Ateneo de Manila University on 30 September 2011 and the UP DGO Roundtable Discussion on 10 March 2017.
